Our weather cooled down last weekend and I took advantage of it every bit I could! I actually bought this duster back at the beginning of August (and in all 3 colors lol) but they had been hanging in our coat closet ever since so I was elated to get a chance to wear this one… So excited that I forgot to cut the vent stitch in the back #howembarassing! That’s one of my biggest pet peeves too! Luckily for me, this duster is so long that I don’t think anyone noticed lol at least I hope not Have you ever done something like that?

I was also super excited to wear my new backpack! I’ve been loving the backpack trend the past few seasons but I hadn’t found a style I could pull off since most of the backpack bags I’ve seen are much edgier or very laid back casual looking and I just couldn’t seem to work them into my girlier style. I tend to gravitate towards bags that are more structured, feminine and classic. When I saw this adorable Harper Ave. mini backpack, I was smitten! The patent grey color combo makes it so easy to wear year round pairing well with both darker and lighter shades. The shiny patent combined with the braided leather straps add such a sweet feminine touch. For being a “mini” size, it’s still quite roomy so it’ll be a great companion when traveling too!
